Dear Students, Parents and Guardians:
It is hard to believe that summer is almost over! We hope that everyone
enjoyed their summer break. Staff have been working hard over the last
couple of weeks getting their classrooms and learning spaces ready for
the students return on Tuesday, September 6th. A special thank-you to
our custodians, Shane MacDonald, Angela Aulenback and Robyn MacDonald,
for getting the building ready for the students return. They worked very
hard over the summer getting things ready and we appreciate everything
they do for us at TCS.
On behalf of the Thorburn Consolidated School staff, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to another academic year. We especially welcome and new families to TCS. I am expecting this year to be an exciting time as our staff and volunteers strive to enhance the learning environment at this great school.
I encourage all our students to devote enough time and energy on your academic studies and to also get involved in the various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities that Thorburn Consolidated School has to offer. Getting involved in your school outside of the classroom will certainly make your school year a more memorable one.
