I would like to take this opportunity to reach out to everyone and introduce myself.

My name is Joyce Talbot and I am new to Thorburn Consolidated School.

I am very excited to be working with an awesome team of staff and students. I could feel the school and community spirit when I first arrived at TCS in August.

Mindful Morning is an activity you can do every day. Start at the top and try to do a little bit of each thing. Item number 2 on the list asks you to say two Positive-Self-Talk Statements to yourself. That's just a fancy way of saying: "Tell yourself two things are are wonderful about you." Some nice things you can say about yourself might be:

I am special.

I am brave.

I am thankful.

I can use my imagination.

I am a good friend to myself.

I enjoy learning.

I am a good friend.

I am perfect just the way I am.

There is no one just like me.

I am friendly.

I believe in myself.

I can do it.
