Thorburn Consolidated School is located in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded
territory of the Mi’kmaq People, and we acknowledge them as the past,
present, and future caretakers of this land.
Thorburn Consolidated School is a PP - 8 rural school located in the village of Thorburn. TCS opened in September 1969 for students in Grade 4 - 6. In September 1977 an addition was added giving us our existing building. We currently serve the area from Priestville to Sutherland's river border and from Thorburn to East River St. Mary's.
We would like to welcome all our families and especially any new families to the area and our school. We are expecting this year to be an exciting time as our staff and volunteers strive to enhance the learning environment at our great school.
